On July 4th, 1776, The United States of America was founded on immigrants. People migrated from British colonies and then slowly founded the 13 colonies in America. When these colonies be transitioned into states, and this nation became the United States of America, the Declaration of Independence was created. This document Stated that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. We are all equal, we all have rights which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. How can we be happy or try to pursue happiness if English becomes the official language of the United States?
